Kisses from Cupid: Valentine’s Day Eyeshadow

For day 4 of 14 Days of Valentine’s I bring you an easy eyeshadow look inspired by the shades in the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette!  Last night when I was getting ready I fell in love with the berry tones all over again and thought they would be the perfect pop of pink for a Valentine’s look!

To preface this post I am not an expert by any means and to be honest, few people would even consider my makeup skills to be good. That being said, I think this look is easy enough that anyone can accomplish it.

For the crease I used a fluffy brush and Warm Taupe. Using that same fluffy brush I went in on the outside corners of my eye with Antique Bronze.

With a regular blending brush I applied a mix of both Love Letter and Venetian Red under Antique Bronze.

I applied a little Primavera to the inside corners of my eye and in the crease using the blending brush. Lastly, I applied a little more Antique Bronze under my lower lash in the outer corner with a defining brush to give a subtle smoky effect.

Overall, I thought the look was perfect for a date night! I also used Urban Decay Sheer Liar on my lips and viola! My Valentine’s look is complete!

To buy the Modern Renaissance pallete (highly recommend!!) click here! For the Urban Decay lipstick, click here! Neither will disappoint!

Always, Autumn

It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and appearance.

In addition, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Firefox.
